Darth Maul sneaked from his master, Darth Sidous, to an auction attended by the galaxy's most dangerous crime bosses. The big prize is Eldra Kaitis, a Jedi Padawan caught by opportunistic gangster Xev Xrexus. To quench his hunger for revenge against the Jedi, Maul kidnapped the padawan with a group of bounty hunters, including Cad Bane and Aurra Sing. Noticing this event, Xrexes dropped the hunters' ship and invited the auction attendees to hunt them. Maul and Eldra left the group to hunt their pursuers. Although they worked together, lightsabers eventually began to collide….
